Safe - Ecological – Heat insulating

TECHNOpor glass foam granulate (Foam glass, Foam glass gravel, Glass foam gravel)
is the ecological alternative to the customary insulation with XPS plates, ideal for under the floor slab
and flanking the basement wall.

The most common application is the perimeter insulation under the floor slab.

Glass foam granulate is highly load-transferring and is successfully implemented in structural engineering,
e.g. in multi-story residential buildings, industrial construction, biogas plants and much more.

Projects in civil engineering have also been successfully implemented with
TECHNOpor glass foam granulates.
One example for this implementation is in road construction, and here especially in the bridge construction
on the Autobahn 8 around Munich.

The glass foam granulate is also outstanding and highly suitable for restructuring
(
old building or basement restructuring).

The name ‘glass foam’ (or foam glass) refers to the recycling of waste glass material
and the production process, during which the glass powder is `foamed’ up.
That is how re-cycling becomes ‘up-cycling’!
